Why Medieval Philosophy Matters: An Interview with Stephen Boulter
By Guido Alt
In this interview, we have talked about Stephen’s book Why Medieval Philosophy Matters (Bloomsbury, 2019). In this book, Stephen provides a defense of the relevance of medieval thought for contemporary philosophical inquiry at large. Throughout the interview, Stephen discusses some of the core points of the book, which seeks to argue for the relevance of medieval philosophy by pointing out the affinity of philosophical principles much discussed in scholasticism with common sense perspectives on philosophical problems.
