At IPM Monthly, we are always looking for new collaborators who want to get more engaged with fostering an open, inclusive, and better academia. The main aim of IPM Monthly is the circulation of valuable information to level the playing field and make academia a fairer work environment. Would you like to join us in this daring adventure? There are three main kinds of possible collaborations with IPM Monthly.


Are you organising a conference or an edited volume and you want to share the news with the broader community? Have you read a recently published book that you believe our colleagues should know about? Or perhaps, have you seen a job post advertised somewhere and you want more people to be aware of it? Just send us an email! We will be very glad to include all that in our monthly sections. Starting in 2023, the December issue will include the list of contributors to express our gratitude to all the people who are collaborating with IPM Monthly. All you have to do is to send us an email with the info you want to share and we will take care of it!

Would you like to write some pieces for our sections every now and then, without much commitment to the management of IPM Monthly? Fantastic! You may join our team as guest author. You can either contact us beforehand and check whether IPM Monthly is the right venue for your piece, or you can directly send us your text via email. After having assessed it, we will get in touch with you and a fruitful collaboration will begin.

If you would like to engage more directly with IPM Monthly, perhaps you may be tempted to join our editorial team. Needless to say, it is a voluntary, unpaid job: but it is a lot of fun, too! By joining the team, you will receive a hands-on training on many transferrable skills, from the day-to-day management of the magazine to more technical web and multimedia skills. We ask interested people to send us their CV together with a (short) letter detailing their commitment to IPM Monthly and its aims.
