En esta entrevista, nos habla sobre su exitoso libro publicado en 2021, Diario de una filósofa embarazada. Este libro explora las inquietudes metafísicas de una filósofa que, estando embarazada, analiza y problematiza la relación entre el estado de la madre, la gestación del hijo y el propio feto, entre otras grandes cuestiones.

🇬🇧 Summer 2024 – This summer, the Philosophy and Community section of IPM Monthly presents an interview with Professor María Martín Gómez. In this interview, she discusses her successful book published in 2021, Diary of a Pregnant Philosopher (Diario de una filósofa embarazada). This book explores the metaphysical concerns of a philosopher who, while pregnant, analyzes and problematizes the relationship between the mother’s state, the gestation of the child, and the fetus itself, among other significant issues.

Sobre María Martín Gómez

🇪🇸 María Martín Gómez es profesora titular laboral en la Universidad de Salamanca, España. Pertenece al Departamento de Filosofía, Lógica y Estética, y al grupo de investigación JANO: Grupo de Historia de la Filosofía y Ontología Crítica. Es coordinadora del Programa de Doctorado en Filosofía. Es doctora por la Universidad de Salamanca con la tesis “El pensamiento hermenéutico de fray Luis de León” (2011), dirigida por el Dr. Cirilo Flórez Miguel.

🇬🇧 María Martín Gómez is a tenured professor at the University of Salamanca, Spain. She belongs to the Department of Philosophy, Logic, and Aesthetics and the research group JANO: Group for the History of Philosophy and Critical Ontology. She is the coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Philosophy. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Salamanca with the thesis “The Hermeneutic Thought of Fray Luis de León” (2011), supervised by Dr. Cirilo Flórez Miguel.
