Founded in 2022, IPM Monthly: Medieval Philosophy Today (https://ipmtoday.com/) is a creative endeavour aimed at fostering a new, inclusive, and global approach to the study of medieval and premodern philosophy. Each month, IPM Monthly offers its readers a wide range of news, insights, and interviews on the most debated topics in philosophy, history, and their relationship to society and academia. After two years, the editorial team of IPM Monthly is expanding to include more news and topics, increasing coverage in pivotal areas of our global community. Specifically, we are seeking potential collaborators:
– To manage the flow of information (about events, books, CFAs, grants, etc.) from (1) Eastern Asia, (2) North America, (3) India, and (4) the Middle East.
– To expand IPM Monthly by including and managing new sections dedicated to (a) the history of science, (b) premodern Asian philosophy, and (c) premodern African philosophy.
– To contribute to the existing section of IPM Monthly dedicated to (1) new trends in the history of philosophy, (2) philosophical contributions to societal growth, (3) digital humanities, (4) art and philosophy.
Depending on their availability, new collaborators will be asked to either join the editorial board of IPM Monthly or become editorial collaborators, the latter being the preferred option for those who envision their collaboration as occasional. Joining the IPM Monthly team offers an unparalleled opportunity for intellectual and personal growth through a constant exchange of ideas and perspectives with an international team of young scholars dedicated to making scholarship in the field more interconnected, inclusive, and fair. Please note that IPM Monthly is the result of voluntary work by its team, which receives no compensation for its commitment.
